Position Summary:

The Home Health Aide (HHA) at Trusting Hands Home Health Care Services, LLC provides compassionate, non-medical assistance to clients in their homes. The HHA supports individuals who are aging, disabled, or recovering from illness by helping them with essential daily activities while promoting independence, dignity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and oral care
  • Provide mobility support: safe transfers, walking assistance, repositioning in bed or chair

Position Summary:

The Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care Specialist provides specialized non-medical care and support to clients living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. This role is designed for individuals with specific experience or training in memory care who can create a stable, compassionate environment that promotes safety, reduces anxiety, and enhances quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Fall Prevention Monitor / Safety Support Aide plays a critical role in promoting a safe and supportive home environment for clients at risk of falls or injury. This non-medical role focuses on proactive monitoring, mobility assistance, and home safety awareness to help clients maintain independence while reducing the risk of accidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor clients for fall risks and provide physical assistance during mobility tasks (e.g., walking, transferring, standing)
  • Supervise daily activities to ensure safety and proper use of mobility aids (walkers, canes, wheelchairs)
  • Assist with fall-prevention strategies including environmental assessments and removal of tripping hazards
  • Help with repositioning and movement to reduce pressure and fatigue
  • Provide verbal reminders and cues for safe movement and cautious transitions
  • Assist with toileting, dressing, or other tasks that pose fall risks
  • Report safety concerns, client behaviors, or environmental hazards to the supervisor
  • Document services and incidents accurately as required by the care plan
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure an individualized fall-prevention strategy
  • Encourage clients to follow safety protocols and mobility exercises as directed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working with seniors or mobility-impaired clients (home care, assisted living, or rehab setting preferred)
  • Must pass criminal background check (CORI) and health screening
  • Ability to assist with physical mobility and safely transfer clients
  • Excellent observation and communication skills
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation and on-time attendance required

Preferred Skills:

  • PCA/HHA or CNA training (a plus, but not required)
  • Knowledge of fall risk factors and home safety techniques
  • Bilingual abilities (a plus)
  • Familiarity with safety equipment and proper body mechanics

Working Conditions:

  • In-home client environments, including varied household conditions
  • May involve standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with mobility
